Applicant Requirements

Required:

1. Veterinary degree conferred by an accredited University
2. Applicants should have at least 1-2 years of experience working as a veterinarian in the field of food animal or food safety
3. Must be registered with the veterinary board in your country and be able to provide CPD registration number
4. Moderate experience in handling epidemiological data
5. Strong self-motivation and personal interest in completing the program
6. Possibility of attending a limited number of face-to-face activities to complement the online training
7. Have a laptop and/or computer with access to the internet
8. Willingness to dedicate 6-8 hours per week to training, in addition to regular duties, for the duration of the training

Preferred:

1. Between 5 -10 years of experience working as a veterinarian
2. Previous experience with online education 

Commitment Required by the Veterinary Service

1. Written confirmation from the immediate supervisor supporting the participant’s suitability and ability to meet program requirements.

2. Written confirmation from the immediate supervisor that the participant will be able to spend at least 6 hours per week of their workday on the training program.
